Our Commitment to a Smooth Return Process

 

At Summit Lighting Solutions, we aim to ensure every order meets your expectations. If you need to return a product, we’re here to help—but due to the nature of commercial lighting, all returns must follow the process outlined below.

🔁 Return Policy Overview

Return Requests: Must be submitted within 30 days of the original delivery date.

Eligibility: Products must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.

Non-Returnable Items: Custom-built, special-order, discontinued, or clearance items cannot be returned.

📋 How to Request a Return

 

To initiate a return, please email us at returns@summitltg.com with the following:

1 Original order number

2 Item(s) to be returned

3 Reason for return

4 Photos (if product is damaged or incorrect)

 

We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and shipping instructions.

💰 Restocking Fees & Shipping

Restocking Fee: Returns may be subject to a 15–30% restocking fee, depending on the manufacturer’s policy.

Shipping: Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless the return is due to a Summit or manufacturer error (e.g., incorrect or defective item).

📦 Damaged or Defective Items

 

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 5 business days of delivery. Include photos and a description of the issue. We’ll work with the manufacturer to replace the item or issue a credit.

🔄 Exchanges

 

Need to exchange a product? Please follow the standard return process above. A new order may need to be placed separately to expedite fulfillment.

❗ Important Notes

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted or refunded.

Returns received without an RMA or outside the return window may be refused.

Credit is issued only after the product is received and inspected by the manufacturer or Summit team.
